Al McCrae was born to the late Phyllis & Allan McCrae Jr. He was native to Birmingham, MI. He was an entrepreneur who owned numerous businesses throughout the years and also retired from the local towing company where he was known as the “Midnight Cruiser”.
He was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything. He loved to garden. He had a passion for cooking and was known for his delicious cookies and rice crispy treats. He was very passionate about animals and would have saved every stray animal in need.
Al was survived by his loving wife Pat, daughter Renee (Joe) Vance, granddaughter Erika Young, great granddaughter Avery Young, his sister Mary McCrae, sister in law Cheryl (Gary) Pollack, brother in law Rick Beaver, and many nieces & nephews. He was also survived by his beloved furbabies: Charlie, Teddy, Midnight, Peanut, Sadie & Patches.
In addition to his parents, he’s also proceeded in death by his grandson, Evan Young, sister in law Joyce Price, & brother in law Randal Nave. He was also greeted in heaven by numerous family members and family pets that have gone before him.
Family will be having a luncheon in his honor at a later date.
