Delfina R. Laja

Delfina "Pinay" Reyes Laja was a caring wife, Nanay, Lola, great-grandmother, and friend. She was born to Pedro and Feliza Reyes on December 24, 1926. She peacefully passed away at home on December 10, 2020 at the age of 93 sur-rounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Abundio L. Laja (2002) for 53 years. Loving mother, "Inay," of Dante (Thelma) Laja, Evelyn (Jose) Calasara, and Abundio, Jr. (Rowena) Laja. Cherished grandma, "Lola," of Jeffrey (Ryza) Calasara, Kathryn (Levi) Reyes, Patrick (Amanda) Calasara, Krystle (Rlan) Landingin, Faith (Robert) Victoria, and Tyrone (Aimee) Calasara; and great-grandmother, "Nani," of Edelyn, Caleb, Kryslana, Nora, and Nina. Also survived by her sisters Zenaida Ramos and Lolita Ichimura. Due to COVID restrictions, visitations are limited to immediate family, live-streaming will be available for the mass and memorial service. A funeral service is scheduled for 10am on December 16, 2020 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington Hills. Memorial Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre.
