Elena Lubnik (nee Cihir), age 102, passed away April 29, 2023.

Elena was the beloved wife of the late Vasil. Dearest mother of Eugene (Carol), the late George (Arlene), and Nicholas (Deborah). Loving grandmother of the late Michael, Eugenia McNulty (Sean), and David (Victoria). Proud great-grandmother of Bridget Renwick, Blair and Stella Lubnik. Amazing great-great-grandmother of Brooklyn Harwood.

Church Visitation Monday, May 8, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m Service at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, 2101 Livernois Street, Ferndale, Michigan. Instate Tuesday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service also at the church. Graveside service and interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
