Esther Javezian, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted family member, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, in Novi, Michigan. Born on February 13, 1934, Esther lived a life rich in love, warmth, and community.
A proud graduate of Highland Park High School, class of 1952, Esther's early years were marked by a strong sense of family and dedication. In 1955, she married Norman, and together they built a loving family, raising two daughters who brought immense joy and pride into her life.
Esther was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, always finding joy in their company. She found pleasure in simple yet meaningful pastimes—whether cheering on the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers or indulging in her love for shopping, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Leslie (Steven) Leaser and Carol (John) Boes, and by her grandsons Evan Boes and Christopher Boes, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and devotion. Esther was preceded in death by her dear parents, Charles and Nevart Babian.
Surrounded by those who loved her, Esther departed this life leaving behind a legacy of love and togetherness. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, and a Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held during the summer.
Esther’s life was a testament to the power of family bonds and the joy found in everyday moments. Her memory will forever reside in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service is planned for July 18 th at the chapel of Woodlawn cemetery 19975 Woodward Ave. Detroit 48203 at 11 am. Following the services all are invited to a lunch in her honor at the Andiamo Restaurant located at 6676 Telegraph Road Bloomfield Township, 48301 just South of Maple Road (15 Mile Road)
