Frank Alan Felong

Frank Alan Felong, 85, of Pleasant Ridge, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 7th.  Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carol Felong, and his younger brother, James Felong. Alan is survived by his life partner of 53 years, Susan McPherson, and his beloved dog, Rosie. 

After quitting high school and joining the U.S. Army, Alan returned to continue his education and graduated from Wayne State University with honors.  Alan's career involved several positions in areas of employment and employee relations.  Throughout his career, his primary focus was to ensure every employee was given an opportunity to succeed. Alan was totally devoted to his pets and each one was considered his special "child with fur". 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or the Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society.
