Frederick John Schultz

Fred "Duke" Schultz age 67 of Centerline formerly of Detroit. Fred was born At Ft. Clayton in the Panama Canal Zone. He was the. beloved son of the late Norman and Eleanor Schultz. Dear brother of Gregory, Raymond, Kathryn ( Larry) Kris, Sister Mary Grace and the Late Cecilia. Many Nieces, Nephews and Friends also Survive. Visitation Friday July 27th From 10am until the time of his Funeral Mass 11 am at St, Hyacinth Catholic Church 3151 Farnsworth Corner of McDougal Detroit 48211 313-922-1507. Burial Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the army and had basic training at Ft. Knox, KY. He was transferred to Germany until his order came down sending him to Viet Nam. He got hit over there and spent over a year in the hospital. After his discharge he came home to Detroit. He worked at Bray's auto parts for a while and another auto parts store he opened Fred's Bar, on Chene street. And the legend lived on.
