Haralabos "Bob" Floros

Haralabos "Bob" Floros passed away on January 10, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with Covid-19, while his wife and daughter held his hands. He was 46 years old.Bob was a friend to everyone he met. His joy and love of life drew people to him, and he was loyal to every one of them. Even in his last months, when he could not communicate, he quickly became the favorite of his healthcare team. Bob was dedicated to his profession, passionate about Michigan Football, and frustrated by his lack of golf and bowling skills, but his greatest love was his family and his many friends.Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Lisa, and the center of his entire universe, their daughter, Sofia. Bob and Sofia did everything together. From Zoo Tots, to Greek dancing, to body surfing, to traveling to Michigan Football bowl games, they were always a team. But Bob's very favorite place was the pool deck, where he had the best view to cheer Sofia on while she swam.Sofia is blessed to have Bob's brother, Frank Floros, who has often accompanied them on their adventures, to continue those fun times and to nurture her love of sports. Bob is also survived by his loving mother, Dimitra Floros, his brother and sister in law, Aaron and Kerri Hesse, his nieces and nephews, Zac, Zoe, Zelene, Zander, and Zara Hesse, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Grigorios Floros, who we are sure welcomed him with open arms and a shot of ouzo.In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the memorial fund that was set up to benefit his daughter, Sofia.
