Janet Eileen Webb

Janet E. Webb, age 65, of Oak Park, Michigan, passed away in her home on August 16th, 2020. Born in 1955, in Waukesha, Wisconsin to parents David and Dorothy Becker, Janet grew up with an older brother and a younger sister and brother. Stories of her childhood describe Janet with an neverending sense of adventure; a vigor and spunk for whatever life would bring. Following her high school graduation, Janet married her first husband in 1973. A few years later she moved with her husband to the Detroit metro-area where she bore two sons, and began her career in accounting. She later remarried in 1989 to her current husband; she bore a daughter and gained a step-daughter, as well as advancing her career to become a litigation analyst and senior corporate accountant. All those remembering Janet know she leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and generosity, and a passion for living each moment to the fullest. Janet made those she met feel like family; she shared any and everything she could to ensure those she loved had what they needed. She is survived by her beloved husband Phillip; her mother, Dorothy; three siblings, Kirk, Elaine, and Eric (Donna); two sons, Wade (Nikki) and Chad (Amanda), daughter, Andrea, step-daughter, Marsha (Tony); three grandsons, and four granddaughters. Her family will be having a private viewing this week, with a public celebration of life anticipated for 2021.
