He gave lovingly of all he had, planning family vacations and often driving through the night after working a full day to make sure his family was able to see and know one another, whether in Green Bay, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, or anywhere else. Leonard had passions for bowling and playing cards which ultimately led him to his third wife, Michelle (Hutchens) Schwendemann. On November 28, 1998, Leonard and Michelle were married aboard the Mark Twain B&B riverboat on the Ohio River gaining 2 daughters Michelle (38) and Kathleena (35).
