Ramon E. Intig

Ramon "Monching" Enriquez Intig Sr. passed away and peacefully joined his Creator on May 4, 2020 at 6:26 PM after his fight against COVID-19. He was born in Margosatubig, a province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines on May 3, 1953. On December 20, 1980, he married his wife of 39 years, Estrella Sotto Intig, and they were blessed with four children, Shiela "Michelle", Ramon "ER", Kevin Marck, and Alyssa Monette. Ramon was strong-willed and intelligent. He completed his Masters in Business Administration at Ateneo de Zamboanga University in 1998. He started his career as an accountant and worked his way to a branch manager position at Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), where he excelled and made lifelong friends. He will be remembered as a beautiful singer, avid photographer, well dressed man, supportive father, and doting grandfather to Angela Sofia and Stephanie Madrid (the daughters of Michelle and her husband Jorge).Ramon was preceded in death by his father and mother, Pedro and Pilar Intig. He is survived by his wife, children, son-in-law, grandchildren, siblings whom he loved dearly Nena, Ditas, Betty, Zeny, Lulu, Julyne, Beng Beng, Claire, and Ferdie, as well as his many nieces and nephews all of whom will miss him greatly.
