Rebecca Haylett

Rebecca Lynn Haylett, 60, of Ferndale, Michigan passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2020 surrounded by her family. Born on November 14, 1959, Rebecca grew up in Toledo, Ohio before settling down in Ferndale and raising her family with her husband Robert. She graduated from Ferndale High School and afterward was employed at Plunkett Cooney where she worked her way to a management position.Her passions included gardening, writing, animals, and poetry. She loved all of the beautiful things in life and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was full of spirit and hope and shared that spirit with each person she came in contact with. No matter what life had in store for her she was always relentlessly optimistic.Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband Robert Haylett, son Joshua Henry, father Larry Henry, and stepfather Glenn Rickenbacher. She is survived by her mother Alene Rickenbacher, children Jamie (Charles) Cushman, Jennifer (Alex) Landback, and Christopher (Gina) Haylett, and her grandchildren Tyler, Justine, Allie, and Layne, along with her sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on a date to be determined.
