Richard Earl Meyers

Richard E. Meyers age 92 formerly of Ferndale passed away March 4th. He was the beloved husband of the late Mauvis. Dear father of Daniel (the late Evelyn) Meyers and Steve (Elizabeth) Meyers. Grandfather to Danny (Tiffany), Natalie, and Lily. Great grandfather to Dawson. Long time member of the Drayton Avenue Presbyterian Church. A private family graveside services is planned.  He committed his life to his family, his community, his church and his career in the insurance industry.  Growing up in Ferndale, he took up target shooting at a young age and reached the level of expert by age 18.  He was also most proud of his service in the Air Force during the Korean War.   If you would like to honor Richard's memory you may do so with a donation to Angela Hospice. https://angelahospice.org/donate/
