On July 23, 2021, Rick Sinnott, a true example of love, dedication, and selflessness, passed at the age of 54.
Rick was born on February 16, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and worked in real estate for his friends and family. Rick had a passion for life and never was one to sit still. If he wasn't spending time with his family, he would often be found on the golf course with friends or taking long walks with our dog, Olive. He gave us courage, strength, and love to face everyday. He showed us how to be brave and to embrace life. He led by example and made his family a priority. While Rick lost his battle with cancer, in his short time with us, his love and courage has touched his friends and family forever.
He is survived by his wife, Kitty; his two children, Sophia and Benjamin; his mother-in-law, Belen Gonzales; his sister-in-law, husband, and nephew, Maria, Paul, and Christopher Johnston; his sister, Tina Shoemaker (Richard, Brittany, and Megan); and brother, Greg Shoemaker. Funeral Services 1 pm Saturday July 31st at St. Joseph Catholic Church 830 South Lafayette Street , South Lyon, MI. 48178. Following the Funeral Mass all are invited to the Fox Hills Country Club 8768 North Territorial Road Plymouth, Mi. 48170.
