Ron Reid

Ronald B Reid Jr., Age 49, died on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at his home in Newport News, Virginia. He was born near Oak Park, Michigan, where his childhood was spent with his parents and younger brother.Ronald Graduated from Ferndale High School in 1988. After graduation he attended truck driving school and drove, cross country for both J. B. Hunt and Ratliff Trucking. He then went on to join the Costco team in 2004, working there in both Michigan and Virginia.In 2012, he married his high school sweetheart, Dana Akey and moved to Virginia to live with her and her sons, Kenny and Jonathan Moats.Ronald is survived by his wife, Dana, stepsons, Kenny and Jonathan, his parents, Ronald Sr. and Darlene. Also, his brother, Paul and his wife Dawn (Rossmeisl) along with his nephew, Ashton, and Niece, Kate.A memorial service will be held at Wessels and Wilk Funeral Home, in Pleasant Ridge, MI at a date to be announced
