Sharon Ann Andersen of Centerline, Michigan, passed away February 19, 2026.

She was born on September 23, 1961 to Kenneth and Laura Merdian in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She graduated from Ferris State University in 1983 and married her husband John Andersen on November 24,1984. They were married for 41 years. 

Sharon was a devoted church member and regularly attended First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, she was a passionate baker, known to friends and family as Cookie Momster. She was a longtime fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, Detroit Tigers baseball, an avid reader, knitter and contributor to the community, especially to local senior centers. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Carol Miner and Kathy Shaffer. She is survived by her husband John; sons James of Centerline, Michigan, Andrew (Kellie) of Pontiac, Michigan and Steven (Morgan Dodson) of Kentwood, Michigan; sisters Betty Milthaler of Freemont, Michigan, Janice (Dennis) Hudson of Lansing, Michigan; brother Craig (Lena) Merdian of Traverse City, Michigan; grandchildren Harvey and Micah and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by all.
