Steven Michael Stankov

Steven, age 56, passed away July 20th at his home in Hazel Park. He is survived by his wife Lisa Carol Stankov and his son Kyle Robert Stankov. His mother Zonyia Lavonne Ernest and step-father Thomas Grant Ernest also survive. Steven graduated from Kimball High School in Royak Oak in 1979. He was married to Lisa Carol Brogan on May 9, 1990. Steven worked as a Emergency Medical Specialist Technician. He and his son Kyle enjoyed being out in nature, especially camping and boating around Gull Island and Seaway, where they made many friends. All of Steven's life he had a passion for motorcycles, so he and Kyle spent many happy days riding dirt bikes with their friend Brian Pakulsky on his property. In the winters,  Steven enjoyed skiing on Boyne Mountain. Recently, Steven and Kyle spent time together at his step-father's condo in Fort Meyers, Florida. They visited Bush Gardens, Disneyland, Sanibel Island and many beaches. They also enjoyed going to Cedar Point and Kalahari Water Park in Ohio. Steven was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible verse in John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have have eternal life."
