Themistocles 'Timmy' De La Cruz

Themistocles "Timmy" De La  Cruz age 70 of Livonia. Passed away peacefully Thursday May 18th. Born in Cebu City , Philippines to Marciano and Angela, he lived most of his life in Cebu City prior to immigrating to the US in 2002. Tim was a retired Law Enforcement Officer in the Philippines  and was Chief Clerk Master Sargent. He loved sports and enjoyed basketball, was a star player in high school and college, continuede to be an avid fan of Sephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, cheered for the Filipino pride boxer Manny Pacquiao and followed our own Detrooit Tigers. Tim was extremely loving and proud of his family, especially with caring and "Schoolbus" driving for his three grand daughters. He was well liked and cherished by everyone that he met. He is survived by hiswife Susie of 46 years, Daughter Hazel Hubahib, son in law Tadeo Hubahib, Granddaughters Monica, Hailey and Alyssa, as well as sisters Tellie Toledo, Fatima Suening, Erlinda Villarba, Brother Bob De La Cruz and numerous in laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.Visitation will be Sunday 3-8 pm at the Fred Wood Funeral Home 36100 5 Mile rd. Livonia (734-464-8060). Instate Monday 9:30 am until the time of his Funeral Mass 10 am at St. Priscilla Catholic Church 19120 Purlingbrook Livonia , Michigan (248-476-4700). A Scripture service will be Sunday  6 pm.
