Timm graduated from Comstock Park High School in and attended the University of South Florida. Timm was a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Every Sunday, during the NFL season, he was searching for the game on TV. He loved Marvel movies and was always there on Opening Night so the spoilers couldn’t ruin it for him. He surprised many with his Karaoke favorite “Copa Cabana” getting the crowd involved. He loved Larry Bird and his 15 year old maine coon cat, Halbie (Halberta Lynn Merrill).
Timm loved working in the restaurant business. In Grand Rapids, he made friends everywhere he worked, Ruby Tuesday, Cheddars, The Crooked Goose. He had a hilarious story about being fired after throwing a party and being caught with Chili’s signs. Some may not know that he was an original investor in Hop Cat, Grand Rapids. After leaving Hop Cat in 2013, he was able to enjoy an extended trip to Ghana, Africa. He talked about his daily walks to the market and playing cards with the locals. He moved to the Metro Detroit area and started working at Bastone and then Lillie’s in Royal Oak.
