William D. Sampsell

William D. Sampsell, age 76, passed away February 20, 2020.William was the beloved husband of the late Mary Sampsell; loving father of William D. (Toby) Sampsell Jr.; devoted grandfather of William "Wes" Sampsell and Hunter Sampsell; and dear brother of Betty Burton and Donna Bond.William was a hard worker and took pride in that work. When not at work, he loved to get away from it all. Nature and the outdoors were his paradise. The perfect time for him would have been to go up north with no one but his trusty dog, Bandit or Mia, depending on his current pet.Visitation will be held, Sunday, February 23, from 12:00 p.m. noon until 3:00 p.m. at Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home, 23690 Woodward Ave, Pleasant Ridge.Please share a memory with the family here on William's Tribute Wall.
