When my Mom recently passed away, she wanted a simple cremation and I soon found out that I had no idea how to make those arrangements so I turned to Wessels and Wilk Funeral Directors and met with John Wilk. All I can say is that both John and his son, Steve, made this ordeal for me and my family as seamless as it could have possibly been. They took my Mom from the hospital and into their care, and from there they handled every detail that we had hoped for and a few that we didn't even know needed to be handled...but they handled it. Both John and Steve are extremely professional and caring people and are also just really nice guys. You'll know the moment you meet them. These are the guys that you want to place your trust in to make sure everything is taken care of as it should be.

I could not have asked for a more stress-free and beautiful experience at a really difficult time. All of the bases were covered in a professional and compassionate atmosphere. Thank you John and Steven for your kind support and patience as we honored the life of my partner, Mike.

Kerry was very instrumental in helping Rebuilding Together Oakland County provide free home repair services to low income residents of Southfield. He went the extra mile and sponsored a team of Southfield employees to complete homeowner repairs during our Rebuild Days. He had a big heart for those less fortunate.
